Skip is the President of Multi Media Exposure Inc. (“MME”), a brand incubator, investor and marketing agency that leverages Skip’s longstanding success and experience with creating, marketing and growing a multitude of products and ideas across far-reaching outlets such as live TV shopping networks, internet platforms, and retailers. MME has navigated the growth of many well-known brands, including: Perlier, Deborah Lippmann, Beauty BioScience, Intelliwhite, no!no!, Kyrobak, Brow Shaper and Voloom.
Skip Borghese is also a member of HSN’s Partner Advisory Board. This select group leverages the collective expertise of HSN and their Partners to generate ideas that inspire newness, innovation, creativity and increased brand growth as they continue to redefine the experience of shopping on all platforms.
In 1991, at the age of 23, Skip debuted on QVC with Perlier’s bath & body product line. After 5 successful years on QVC, Skip moved Perlier to HSN, where it remains today. In 2002, Skip launched Elariia, a new bath & body line that he later sold to Perlier. Since taking over representation of the brand on HSN 19 years ago, Skip has grown Perlier into one of the largest and most successful bath & body lines on live TV shopping.Skip graduated from Hobart College and worked in investment banking at Bear Stearns in New York, NY before joining his father’s business in the cosmetic industry where he helped launch numerous upscale brands, including: Fendi Perfumes, La Perla Perfumes, Diego Della Palma, Gayle Hayman and Orlane Cosmetics.Skip was born in Rome, Italy and is the first son of Prince Francesco Borghese and Princess Amanda Borghese – a surname directly traced to 12th Century Siena and includes multiple Cardinals and Popes of the Vatican. Skip is also a founding board member of More Than Me, an internationally acclaimed non-profit dedicated to educating and empowering exploited and poverty-stricken girls from the slums of Liberia. He is married with four children and is fluent in English, French and Italian.
